1. Visit Early
Your PCD, (Primary Care Dentist) wants to see you before any dental problems get worse.

2. Plan Ahead
Plan child care and transportation strategies (and back-ups) at least 2 weeks before your visit.

3. Write it Down
Reminder calls from dental offices are not automatic. Write down your visit date and put it somewhere handy.

4. Bring Your ID
Bring your identification to all visits (OHP identification cards & drivers license).

5. Know When to Call
For general questions about your dental visit or care, call during regular office hours. For emergency care, call the emergency number provided by the office.

6. Ask Questions
Ask questions during your visit to understand your treatment options, but also listen to recommendations—the dental staff has your best interest in mind.
